What's for Dinner? (Papa John's)

The key to a great vegan pizza is of course no animal ingredients (cheese. meats, or butter) and the sauce. Luckily for me Papa Johns has both of these requirenments. Their veggie pizza with no cheese is the best. Their original crust has no butter on it and even their garlic sauce (although it is probably not the healthiest) is vegan.

When I first became a vegan having a pizza with no cheese seemed almost un-natural but I love pizza so I had to give it a try. Not all pizza places can pull off no cheese, so if at first it does not taste good try again. Also for the readers who are lactose intolerant (Overall, about 75 percent of the world's population, including 25 percent of those in the U.S., lose their lactase enzymes after weaning*) this may be a great alternative for you.

What other companies have great vegan pizza's?

  2. I know right! When I first tried the garlic sauce I read the ingrediants twice to make sure it was vegan becuase it was sooo good. I am also glad that they never make me feel "weird" for ordering a pizza with no cheese.
